After having fallen down from lack of strength, the would-be Buddha took his meals sufficiently to regain his strength, and continued with his practice. Then only did he retain the original build of his body.
As he was thus practicing with great diligence, he came to know on the night of the 14th waxing day of Kason in the year 103 that he would really become a genuine Buddha.
