Five days after the Buddha had preached the Dhamma Cekkra Sermon, the Group of Five saw the light of True Dhamma, and became Arahats. Thus appeared in the presence of the Buddha five monks who had become Arahats. Now there came into being the Three Gems, namely, the Buddha, the Dhamma and the Sangha.
